3. And, of course, the current economic crisis and the migrant crisis are not making things any easier. As always, when things are bad, people tend to find fault in the Other, be it gay or foreign people, and Nationalist (Lega Nord) and Populist (Movimento Cinque Stelle) factions get increasingly more traction.
It's a worrying trend that doesn't leave me much hope for a speedy legalization of Same-Sex Marriage in the near future. *sighs*
/I keep hoping the entire Vatican and the edifice that is the Catholic hierarchy sinks into the ground never to be heard from again - but I wish that of all oppressive religions./ - Eheh, if only!!
And now I kind of want to print that shirt for myself too. :D
