Oh no, that is just awful. :( Why do they always gotta cut the funding for the things that are actually important? Education, health care... and what gets funding instead? Fucking potato salad. Take care, yeah? Because that sounds like it might end up being really depressing in the long run for you too.

That is very true. Most I know also tend to be more the alternative types, that's another factor. I think we tend to have a distaste for capitalistic money-grabbing, which ends up with all of us being periodically broke. 'Tis the life.
