I've read maybe ONE Wishverse Buffy/VW fic, and I think the wonderful darling snogged was the author - but maybe I'm confusing that pairing with a Wishverse Buffy/ real Sunnydale Willow fic she wrote. (And Snowpuppies wrote a great Tara/VW Wishverse AU of S4 horror story.)
And I wasn't even thinking Wishverse Buffy, to be honest, I was thinking the really real Buffy Summers and VW. Sort of like one of Megan's plot bunnies - Spike came back for one ep in S3, VW for 2. I don't know that anyone planned for Spike to become a permanent character.
What if the vamp who came back to Sunnydale in S4 wasn't Spike it was Vamp Willow?
