ETA: bangel_4e notified me that my original entries for NS+Mono and Artists Choice 1 were not qualified so I've switched them out. Let me know what you think.

My first-ever 20in20 entries for Round 1 of btvsats20in20 were inspired by the Jo Chen's Cover art for "The Chain"; so I decided to claim Buffy Summers as my subject (no surprise) but with a twist: the "not really-real" versions that populate the Buffyverse: impersonators, dopplegangers, alt universe versions; Buffy reimagined in her own and in other people's dreams.

All icons made by me in ipiccy and Photobucket. Many thanks to bangel_4e and spikesredqueen for their patient and tireless hand-holding.

Totally agree that the blended one really stands out.

Deadline for the fic is tomorrow, and I'm still fussing with some bits of it, but expect to have it posted tomorrow.

I just read it - it feels a bit more concise and the flow is better but I can't tell what exactly was changed without looking at the other version. Maybe nothing but it feels tighter, stronger, and all my favorite lines are still there. (the one about Wesley as "that berk" still being around when the best minds of the Council are gone really stands out.)

I should be saying this over at that thread hon and I apologize, I just got a bit of bad news (loss of my only income, huzzah) and am kind of discombobulated right now.

Oh my goodness, no apologies are needed. Real life always comes first. I just read what happened and I don't know what to say except that it sounds really difficult and painful to be treated that way, and I'm sorry that it sucks so much right now. Thinking good thoughts and hopes that something better comes along soon.

And it may sound odd right now but I love your Chosen icons. Maybe it's easier to focus on the shallow right now but it's so pretty, I love the colors of the background.
